I hope this letter finds you well. As the recently elected Chair of the Osage County Republican Committee, I wanted to reach out as a courtesy regarding the upcoming 2026 election cycle. Our late former Chair, Mark Lieneke, explained at Lincoln Day last year that the Committee will again be vetting Republican candidates for office. All details of the process—including deadlines, requirements, and steps—are included in the enclosed attachment.
To help make the filing process as straightforward as possible for you as an incumbent, here are the key details for submitting your $100 filing fee upon successful vetting completion. You will receive an invoice by email offering:
- Preferred Option: Use the secure Square payment link for credit/debit card or e-check—quick and immediate receipt.
- Alternative: Mail a check or money order to our PO Box (see above). Our last pickup at the box will be noon on March 31, 2026 (filing deadline). Please allow time for USPS—we’re not responsible for postal delays.
A digital receipt will be emailed for you to submit to the County Clerk. For your convenience, full details (including no cash, hand-delivery policies, and handling if paying via the Clerk) are posted on our website at:

We’re happy to answer any questions—just reach out!
Sincerely,
/s/ Linda Rantz
