Hello Ben,
I hope this letter finds you well and fully recovered from your previous surgery.
As Chair of the Osage County Republican Committee, I wanted to thank you again for your participation in our vetting process in 2024. Your willingness to go through it as a show of support was appreciated by our members and demonstrated strong leadership.
With the 2026 election cycle underway, we are once again conducting vetting for Republican candidates and officials. We would be honored if you would consider participating again this year. As you know, it’s entirely optional for state-level offices, and we fully understand if you choose to vet with another county committee or handle it differently—our goal is simply to affirm alignment with conservative principles and support strong Republican representation.
As an FYI, our Lincoln Day event has been scheduled for April 30, 2026. We hope you will be vetted by that time so you can speak during the candidate presentations part of the event.
Thank you for your continued service to Osage County and the state. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like more details on the process (enclosed is our current vetting process instructions).
Sincerely,
/s/ Linda Rantz
Linda Rantz, Chair
Osage County Republican Central Committee
Attachment: Vetting Instructions
Note: in a phone call, Senator Ben Brown confirmed he was working on the vetting questionnaire and would have it completed as soon as possible
