On March 2, 2026, the Osage County Republican Central Committee filed a formal election complaint with the Missouri Secretary of State Elections Division alleging that Osage County Clerk Brooke Dudenhoeffer has willfully neglected or refused to perform her statutory duty under RsMO 115.357 to promptly forward filing fees from Republican candidates to the OCRC Treasurer.

The complaint includes:

  • Completed Elections Complaint Form
  • Detailed Statement of Facts (timeline, evidence of notice, clerk admissions)
  • Exhibits (emails, letters, notes, statutes, filer list)

This action follows confirmation on March 2 that no filing fees have been received by the Treasurer despite multiple candidates filing as Republicans on February 24 and possibly thereafter. The Clerk has stated she is “just doing what I’m told” by external counsel and a commissioner.

Full complaint and attachments are available for public review.
