Following the February 26 rejection of his candidacy, the Osage County Republican Central Committee returns Darryl Griffin’s filing fee ($100 bill, not a check) received from the county clerk, Brooke Dudenhoeffer, on March 3rd.

In the letter sent to Griffin, OCRC clarified that the certified mail signature by the secretary (on the envelope sent by the clerk) does not imply acceptance and that the clerk’s forwarding role under RSMo 115.357 does not validate candidacy.

The letter reaffirms the final rejection and warns of potential legal action if placed on the ballot. Includes a copy of the original February 26 rejection letter to Griffin.
