Part 1: Vetting Notification & Platform Alignment Review
Submit Your Intent to Vet — Required First Step for OCRC Approval
Welcome to Part 1 of the Osage County Republican Committee (OCRC) Candidate Vetting Process. This step officially notifies OCRC of your intent to seek partisan elected office or a committee position as a Republican. It also enables the Committee’s review of your public records (e.g., statements, social media, voting history, public affiliations) for alignment with conservative principles and the Missouri Republican Party Platform (including 2024 amendments recognized by REPACCMO).
What to Expect:
-
Most fields are required — incomplete or inaccurate information may delay processing. OCRC is not responsible for delays caused by errors.
-
Accuracy is essential, especially your email address, as it is our primary method of communication (including payment links, approvals, or appeals).
-
After submission, OCRC reviews your details and public record for platform alignment.
-
If approved, you’ll receive an email with payment instructions (for partisan offices).
-
If not approved, you’ll receive an email explaining the decision and how to appeal.
-
Both Part 1 and Part 2 (REPACCMO Questionnaire) must be completed successfully for full OCRC vetting approval and receipt issuance. See the main Vetting page for details.

Critical Deadlines for 2026
Submit Parts 1 & 2 by March 29, 2026, 5:00 p.m.
This deadline is to allow time for OCRC’s review and processing before the official filing deadline.
Vetting opens: January 13, 2026
PART 1 FORM SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. — The form will lock/offline after this time. Submit early to avoid issues!
Part 2 (REPACCMO Questionnaire): Access now at REPACCMO.COM/Vetting — Complete by March 29, 2026, 5:00 p.m. to sync with OCRC review.
Official State Filing Period (per Missouri Secretary of State): February 24, 2026 (8:00 a.m.) – March 31, 2026 (5:00 p.m.).
The 48-hour buffer before March 31 allows time for review, notifications, payments, receipts, and any appeals.
Vetting is required for county-level partisan offices (to receive a filing fee receipt) and committee positions (to achieve Qualified Status and serve as a committee member). It is voluntary but strongly encouraged for state/federal offices.
For more details on each part, review OCRC’s letter to candidates.

Payment Instructions – Only If You Pass Full Vetting (Both Parts)
Candidates for county-level partisan offices must pay the $100 filing fee directly to OCRC after successfully completing vetting. The Treasurer will issue an invoice and handles all payments and receipts. Full details below—please review carefully to ensure timely processing.
For partisan offices:
- Debit/Credit Card or e-Check: May be paid using the secure Square payment link in the invoice.
- Check or Money Order: Mail to our PO Box 196, Linn, MO 65051. Must arrive by noon on March 31, 2026 (filing deadline). The Committee is not responsible for USPS delays.

For committee positions:
No fee required
-
A zero-dollar receipt confirms qualified status upon passing both parts of vetting. This will be issued by the Treasurer upon successful passing of vetting.
- Payments received prior to successful vetting completion will be held by the Treasurer for up to 7 days. If vetting is not successfully completed, the check/money order will be returned by certified mail.
- Payment is considered accepted only when funds are received via Square or the check/money order is deposited in the Committee’s bank account. Mailing to the PO Box does not constitute payment.
- The Committee will not accept hand-delivered payments, point-of-sale transactions, payments by phone, or direct payments to the Treasurer or any committee member.
- If you submit payment directly to the County Clerk, you are responsible for ensuring the Clerk mails it promptly to our PO Box to arrive before the filing deadline. The Committee is not liable for delays.
